The Bowie contigent made a good showing with three placers at the 2006 Maryland State Wrestling Tournament.

 Congratulations to the Bowie Wrestling team.  They defended their county titlte and are the 2005/2005 PG County North Regular Season Dual Meet Champs.  Bowie also defended the County Tournament this year with a record 249 points.  1st place finishers were Tyler Smith (103-So), Matt Brannon (140-Sr), Charles McIntosh (145-Sr), Deven Watson (160-Sr), Paul Santone (171-Sr) and, Darrell Qualls (275-Jr). 2nd Place finishers were Jordan Cherry (112-Fr), James McLean (119-Jr) and Ronnie Sinclair (125-So). Cliff Sanon (135-So) placed 3rd, and Eric Bulger (130-So) finished 4th. Deven Watson finished 2nd in the state, Matt Brannon 4th, and Paul Santone 6th.
